1. Acceptance

By using travelcityindex.com you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.

2. What the figures are

Daily costs are estimates computed from national price levels with the formula on the methodology page. They are not quotes, offers or predictions of what a trip will cost you. Visit scores are derived from climate averages and say nothing about the weather on a given day.

Travel advisory levels and safety text are reproduced from the US State Department and the UK FCDO. They are summaries of someone else's published position, they can change at any moment, and they are not our advice. Read the advisory at its source before making a decision that depends on it.

3. AI-written text

The prose around the figures — introductions, FAQ answers and the short cost, safety and timing notes — is written by a language model and checked against the data before publication. It can still be wrong or out of date. Verify anything critical (visas, entry rules, current conditions) with an official source.

4. Using our content

• Link to any page freely.
• Quote a figure with a link back to the page it came from, so a reader can see the source and the date.
• Do not republish pages wholesale, or scrape the site to rebuild it elsewhere, without permission.
• The underlying datasets belong to their publishers and carry their own licences, listed on the sources page. Those licences govern the data, whatever these terms say about our pages.

5. Availability and liability

The site is provided as is, with no guarantee that it is complete, current or available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it or relying on it — including travel disruption, money spent or decisions made on a figure that turned out to be wrong.
