When to go, and when not to

The months with the highest visit scores are March, April, October, and November, when daytime highs stay in a moderate range and sunshine hours climb without the extreme heat of summer. March and April also bring more rain than the driest months, but conditions remain comfortable enough for sightseeing, and by October and November the heat has eased while sunshine remains strong.

The trade-off is that March, April, October, and November overlap with the peak season, alongside July and August, so travelers aiming for the mild weather may find it coincides with busier periods. June, July, and August are the quietest and cheapest months, but they bring the most extreme heat of the year, with highs reaching into the mid-40s Celsius and essentially no rainfall, which makes outdoor sightseeing far less comfortable.
