This combination of dry, sunny conditions makes outdoor sightseeing and walking around the city far more comfortable than during the wetter half of the year.

The trade-off is that January through March and November fall within the peak season, alongside August, so popular sites can be busier during these months. Outside this window, April brings the year's highest average high at 34.1C, while June through September bring the bulk of the rain, topping out at 934mm in July alongside a drop to just 4.1 hours of sunshine a day, making that stretch the least comfortable time to visit despite lower costs.
